The war in the woods

Leaf finished by sorting a few foraging patrols and leapt down from the tree, wincing as she landed. Something had been off about the young leader recently, but not many had noticed.

"Just wha' we need right now--" Rakel rasped "conflict."

"Ya!" Alto looked up from the ant, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Bit smiled, his whiskers twitching as he headed for the arch. Zap zipped by the bear cub, bouncing over his back, running, waiting for him to catch up, and bouncing ovr the cub again.
"Me to, kiddo!!!" Zap said cheerfuly, racing ahead before thumping his leg to say 'it's clear'.

Alto, being a bear cub, followed them slowly. He was taking in the forest and all of its beauties. "It's amazing! I only used to go to the river but here..!"

Fluff nodded, breathing in deeply. "I find it so... Peacefull."

Alto watched as leaves fell from the trees, causing a wonderful display of colors.

Fluff, being a weasel, was alert, although her peaceful mood hinted otherwise. She watched as Zap darted ahead and perked his ears, standing tense for a moment, before calming and thumping his foot as another 'coast's clear' sign.

Prickles watched as his team of moles, small rabbits, and a few weasels dug a few sink-holes that were connected by thin tunnels. every now and then a mole would poke a claw up at the ceiling a few times, and Temple would place a small stone down from above ground. They continued on for a while around the camp.

Nettle sighed as she followed Owl through the brush. Something seemed odd about him today, but she just couldn't tell what exactly.

"I smell a lot of new things." Alto said, sniffing the air. He tried to stay focused on his job, though the new smells confused him a lot.

Zap nodded, a wide grin splaying on his muzzle. "Never smelt so much clover! I mean look-it's everywhere!!" He skid to a halt in front of a patch of clover, nibbling the flowers and leaves. Fluff stared at him and rolled her eyes.

"I don't think that's what he meant you annoying furball.." She mumbled. Fluff stopped at the border and began to mark the territory line. Bit waddled close behimd, doing the same,

Owl peered through the bushes to glare at a small patrol. He smiled. Three weasels slunk up behimd him, awaiting orders. Nettle frowned as she watched the weasel, muskrat, bear cub, and a young rabbit. "Can't we just leave them be?" She murmured. Owl sneered and pointed to the muskrat.

"Hey, this may change your mind... He look familier?" He said slyly. Nettle narrowed her eyes to see better and then froze. Moments later a growl rose in her throat. "Ahh, yes, that's what I thought." He said with a smirk. They continued to follow the patrol.

Alto sniffed the clovers, then watched as they marked the territory. He sniffed the air again. He thought he smelled more animals, but it was covered under the other smells, so he thought it was nothing and continued following the patrol he was in.
