The war in the woods

About two dozen seasons ago, there was a tribe of animals, that included; Owl the south giant red squirrel, Precious the Raccoon, Sunny the chipmunk, and Prowler the porcupine. They had just started in their little group, and lived in Seripia forest. One day, when they were foraging, Precious found an abandoned fox pup she named Leaf. When she brought The fox pup to Owl, their leader, he was not pleased. He said that they should leave the pup to be eaten by the coyotes, for one day she would eat them all. He claimed it was the law of nature, but Precious refused to leave the pup, and raised young Leaf to enjoy berries and fish.

A few days later, Owl came across a coyote pup named Nettle, who was left to rot by her pack. Owl declared that he raise the coyote to become their best forager, and to protect them from larger animals. Precious asked why he'd let a vicious creature like a coyote join their group, but not a fox pup. Owl did not answer but simply took Nettle into his private hollow and fed her the fish that Leaf had caught with Precious. In the following days, Leaf did her best to make Owl proud of her, but no matter how much fish she caught, no matter how many berries she collected, no matter how many nuts she brought to him, she was always shunned. Leaf and Nettle became close friends, but as their group grew larger, tensions rose. Owl was finally accepting the fox.

But as rebellion started, Precious grew angry and split the group into two tribes, declaring war on Owl. Leaf became second in command, and Her and nettle still bore friendship with each other. As the war raged on, Precious acquired two female coyote's trust, and convinced her group that owl had become a threat to all life. As dark clouds circled on the horizon, and every bird, mouse, and hedgehog fled in fear, it was clear to Precious that Owl was the cause of this. But one night, when all was silent, Precious disappeared without a trace, and Leaf became leader of the Seripia tribe.

In hopes of peace, Leaf approached Owl, requesting that their tribes became one once more. Owl's tribe had become huge, with new members arriving constantly, and all opposed to Leaf's offer, declaring battle yet again.

Now you can be part of the clash, joining the Seripia tribe,(Leaf) or the Kiliman tribe. (Owl)

Appearance: A generic brown otter. Has a strong, sturdy tail. Strong back legs. Brown eyes.

Personality: He's the kind of otter who loves to eat, and is the quick-witted, fierce type.
Other/Backstory: Kiliman's the ones with Leaf as leader, right? If so, than he's in that one.

Ooc: Leaf is leader of Seripia.
Bic: Leaf sat on a rock in Seripia forest, munching on a trout. Glimmer and Shine the coyotes were enjoying the Mid-summer sun, patrolling the river just outside the camp. If you can call splashing each other patrolling, that is.

Skipper was in the water, fishing. He bobbed up to the surface, seeing them splashing around. He swam further upstream to try and find where all the fish were.

Glimmer watched the otter slide through the water, her tongue lolling. Thorn the hedgehog was rolling along the grass, sopping occasionally to nab some berrys, then continuing, Temple the deer mouse following close behind..

The otter saw a group of freshwater salmon try to get away from him, but Skip was faster. He quickly wounded them with a bite, sealing their fate. He brought the fish back to shore.

Shine looked up stream ad spotted Skippy's catch. "Good one!"

Shine laughed. "Fish jokes.. They never get old."

(If she's old than I guess I can make an exception.) Leaf looked down at her tribe from a branch in the oak at the side of camp. They have no idea... Perhaps I should tell them.. Leaf sighed, Leaping onto a smaller tree beside the Oak, although it's trunk was still thick. She settled on a branch and Let out a loud, long trail of barks.

Rosetail Accepted) Shine and Glimmer both looked up at the same time. "Ooh! Leaf is calling a gather!" Glimmer said excitedly.

"I hope it isn't some lame old foraging info stuff." Shine added as the two splashed through the paw-deep part of the river and back through the sort of archway into camp.
