Yup. G28 still has tanks and IFVs, but not as much as Legionnaire since they're assassiny and covert ops like soldiers, and more stealth-oriented.

I dunno. Maybe, but they absolutely rival factions.
So these are the difference between Legionnaires and G28 when it comes to attacking a mansion full of soldiers:
Legionnaire Mercenaries: Meh, I'll just bust through the gate with an M2 Bradley, disembark the mercenaries, and storm the buildings. But I'll probably come with a backup plan or have some units to go on the other path if it doesn't work.
G28: Confronting is NOT my type. G28 mercenaries will be inserted via modified UH-60 Blackhawks. We'll set up overwatch positions and have our snipers to watch and provide silent covering fire, while our infiltrators silently infiltrate and take them out, one by one. We'll do this quick and silent.

Intro/history is done!
A nuclear terrorist attack occurs in Saudi Arabia in 2015, killing six million people and crippling the supply of oil from the Middle East, plunging the world into an unprecedented energy crisis. The following year, the United States and the European Union sign the historic SLAMS (Space-Land-Air Missile Shield) Treaty, agreeing to co-develop technologies for a comprehensive, interlocking anti-ballistic missile system. The US and EU test-launch nuclear salvos against each other, which the SLAMS weapons completely destroy. Emboldened by the success of the tests, the US and the EU pronounce "the end of strategic nuclear warfare," and the world celebrates a new age of peace.
With the price of crude oil at USD $800 a barrel, the EU member states are forced to consolidate political, economic, and military power to form a united European superstate, the European Federation (EF), which has a greater population and gross national product (GNP) than America.
As EF membership is restricted to only the richest entities in Europe, nations too weak to join the EF, notably those in the Balkans and Eastern Europe, collapse completely and are subsequently taken over by Russia, who refer to it as "their land." The US and the EF regard each other's power as a threat to their own, and the fractured former allies embark on a costly space arms race with each other.
Russia, being the world's number one supplier of natural gas and crude oil, enjoys a massive economic boom as a result of the worldwide energy crisis. Its newfound wealth is spent on modernizing its military, creating its own missile defense system, and utilizing its power to influence world events.
International reaction is very hostile, particularly from both Russia and the EF. The EF withdraws from the already divided NATO in protest, causing the organization to collapse. Former NATO bases and facilities in Europe, such as Ramstein Air Base, are subsequently taken over by the EF.
United States of America, European Federation, and Russian Federation are no longer in a good relationship on each other. The EF is in heavy combat with the Russian forces, while trying to prevent the American from landing on the European Federation's territories. They're currently at war with each other.
In 2017, expensive oil price causes mass unemployment and political destabilization in China. In order to solve the problem, the People's Republic of China (PRC) seize control of Cheyrus, a fictional nation near Russia, which has been united as a part of the Russian Federation. Cheyrus was a weak nation and it was newly formed into the Russian Federation, which is why the PLA (People's Liberation Army) easily seizes control of it. Cheyrus has a newly discovered reservoir of oil, from the Russian Federation.
The situation deteriorates quickly and China begins to fortify its northern provinces in anticipation of armed conflict with Russia. Aggravated, the Russian Federation mobilizes its military to Cheyrus, where a conflict between Russia and China begins.
In 2018, US sent Marine Expeditionary Units (MEU) to South America to get more oil in order to maintain and develop their war assets. In order to counter this, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, and Argentina agreed to form into a new power, which is the South American Coalition (SAC). SAC set up "The Mexican Crater", a nuclear radiation zone on central America as a response to the "Harvey Massacre" incident and the threatening US military to their land. Venezuela is the US first priority, which is where a war between the US and SAC began.
Same goes for the Russian Federation, they landed in Venezuela three months after US invasion with an intend to make Venezuela to become one with their territory, prevent the US from getting benefits, and of course, more oil. The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is on the western side of the country while the Russian Ground Forces (RGF) is on the eastern side. Both of them are currently trying to seize control of Venezuela while the SAC is trying to find a way out to get them off.
In 2019, the Middle Eastern Coalition (MEC) was preparing for the US and EF invasions. After the terrorist attack, the entire US and European military was pulled off from the MEC's territories. Now, the US and EF are planning to invade back MEC and reclaim their previously controlled territories. The US is more bloodthirsty to invade rather than the EF though. The USMC will soon be deployed into the Persian Gulf beach in the hopes of quickly seizing the nearby MEC airbase. The stakes are high for both sides.
Since Cheyrus was a warzone, the People's Republic of China (PRC) decided to find another alternative to gain fuel. New oil sources have been discovered in Papua New Guinea. Papua New guinea has been united as a part of the Independent Asian-African Democratic States (IAADS). Invading Papua New Guinea means the PLA will have a war with the IAADS, which has been trying to avoid the current conflicts. PLA forces will soon land on Papua New Guinea, so the IAADS forces prepared to fend off the attackers.
Due to recent world's conflicts and wars, top private military factions, Legionnaire Mercenaries and G28, have been hired by various factions and persons to protect their assets or to assist the faction/person's operations and businesses, gaining profits for both companies. Now, the Legionnaire Mercenaries competes with G28 to see which one is the best. These PMCs (Private Military Company) can only be hired with gold bars.
Current year is 2019.
This roleplay is set on a fictional world's state and timeline, so don't complain if things seem to be unrealistic or wrong compared to real life.
