Midnight and Mason like this

Legend has it, it was written by The Dark Ones. Naturom Demonto, roughly translated 'Book of the Dead'. It belongs in a time long forgotten, when humans were savages and the seas ran red with blood. This blood was used to ink the book, and the flesh of the humans was used to bind it. It contains incantations which, if read aloud, can summon The Dark Ones and allow them control of the land and its inhabitants around them. The Book of the Dead was then sealed away, never to be seen again... Or so we all think.
The year is 2009. The date is March 13th. Michael Jackson will die, the President will send 30,000 more troops to be slaughtered in Afghanistan, and Usain Bolt will set the new world record for the 100m dash. While all that hasn't happened yet, the majority of you won't live to see it, even though you don't know it yet.
Your friend Wade has invited all of you to spend Spring Break at his Uncle Ray's lodge in eastern Oregon, a few miles away from Baker City where you all live. All of you have been there once before, back in '07 the night after he graduated. You all remember that the basement was locked off and Wade urged you all to stay away from it... Maybe if you come you can finally find what he's been wanting to hide.
Well, today's the last day before Spring Break, and Wade insisted on you all arriving sometime between Saturday morning or Saturday afternoon. So if you want to go, better get packing. And if you are going, then you're blissfully unaware of what horrors wait to be unleashed, and you will soon learn that once again the seas will run red with blood.
Your blood.
Welcome to The Evil Dead, everybody! The original RP is infamous due to how crappy it and the sequel were, but have no fear! Chris is here to right his wrongs. Expect it to take itself a bit more seriously than the first two RPs, the first three movies and the show, but it will still have its fair share of funny or comical moments. If you couldn't already tell, I'll be controlling Wade, but he'll die or disappear after you guys do a certain something that will unleash demons and require you to go full on Ash Williams on 'em.
I expect at least half the cast to die. We need at least three characters (not counting Wade) and you're all allowed to make two characters if you wish. The cap is six characters (again, not counting Wade), though I doubt each of you will make two characters (if you even join, that is). I'll get to the system shortly after the application.
APP:
Name:
Age (no younger than 18, no older than 22):
Gender:
Physical Appearance (pictures=appreciated):
Sexual Orientation (straight, gay, bisexual, asexual, etc.):
Personality:
Bio:
Inventory (no weapons, there will be some at the lodge):
Health:
Sanity:
Relationships:
Now, relationships mean, well, your relationship with the character (I.E. Are you friends? Relatives? Dating? Etc., etc.). Include if you are strangers, acquaintances, friends, relatives, dating, or something else, then add a little tidbit on what X character feels about Y character.
Put this for all characters. I advise brainstorming with the character's owner about what they think the character's relationship is like, be it through PM or on the thread. Even if you don't brainstorm, at least be sure the owner is alright with it. Be sure to include Wade and edit in the other characters as they come.
Now, for the System. Basically, you have only two things to worry about: Health and Sanity. Health is self-explanatory; it's how much of a beating you can take before your death. You must add at least one to it out of the 30 points you're given.
Sanity is how much you can take before you crack. Seeing/doing disturbing things (I.E. seeing someone die, looting their corpse, killing a demon or killing someone else) will take away a certain amount of Sanity (I.E. seeing someone die takes away 3, killing someone/something takes 5, looting corpses takes 1). Like Health, you must add at least one to it out of the 30 given points. Once you lose a certain amount of Sanity, you'll start hallucinating and hearing voices. Once you reach zero, you kill yourself with the nearest possible means to do so.
You have 30 points to distribute between both attributes; use them wisely. Health can be regenerated (or even filled past maximum) by eating (+1) or bandaging yourself (+3). But be careful; once Sanity is lost, you can't get it back.
Other than that, there isn't any other system like die rolls.
Now, who's ready to kick some demon ass?
