Posted in the Suggestions board because this is something I'm technically suggesting.
When you go to this site, you're met with the forum itself. However, I glanced at other forums and noticed homepages. CYS has a homepage. Lots of sites have homepages. It's common knowledge for a person who's been on the Internet.
So I've been thinking. Why don't we build a homepage? A simple one with an introduction to the site in the middle and statistics (like top posters) on the side. It's not the most difficult task, as we only need an understanding of basic HTML for it.
What do you think? What should we add on the homepage, if you agree to the idea?

Derp, the reason we don't have a homepage is that this is just a forum. CYS has a homepage because it has storygames. BHB technically has one, but nobody ever goes to it. It's mainly a forum.

Derp, the reason we don't have a homepage is that this is just a forum. CYS has a homepage because it has storygames. BHB technically has one, but nobody ever goes to it. It's mainly a forum. I've lurked around the other forums built like this one. Lots have homepages. They may be mainly forums, but they have homepages. It doesn't matter the use of the site. It can have a homepage. |

So, the poll has expired and is now locked.
It seems as if more people want the homepage than those who want to leave the site as is.
