Yeah, I was referring him as (s)he. He doesn't have breasts, but still looks like a female. There is a reason why he crossdresses and be girly.

She... eh, I mean he was transferred from an all-boys school to an all-girls school, actually. Due to his character and feminine appearance, nasty tricks were played on him by other boys. This caused him to have a trauma, refusing to go to school. Instead, her parents order him to enroll in an all-girls school instead. This is where he starts to let his hair to grow longer, wearing more make up, and crossdressing.
He behaves himself as a lady perfectly, and good in both academic and sports. He always been an idolized student in his school, which is an all-girls school. Soon, his best friend, Mia got suspicious of him. This caused Vex to reveals his true identity to Mia, that he is actually a boy. He told everything about his childhood to her. Mia kept it as a secret, and kissed him instead.
When he grows older, he enlisted in the EF in order to get money for her family. In the military, only a few soldiers know about the fact that he is actually a boy, and he got the nickname "Princess" from those EF soldiers. However, when he was still 19, his family got killed during a conflict between EF and Russia. When he was 20, his squad got ambushed by G28 mercs, with himself being the lone survivor. Soon, a G28 infiltrator knocked him out. The G28 squad leader was surprised how Vex can kill some of his infiltrators at that time. So, he decided to carry him back to HQ and recruit him instead. With no hesitation, he accepted the offer since his payment is way bigger. That's how he get to G28.

Second lieutenant. Also, he is still mistaken as a girl by some G28 mercs. He can go to a male restroom, and get the males to curious why there is a girl here. He can go to a female restroom, and make the girls (that know that he is a male) to be surprised, and proceed to tell him to go away xD

The G28 is thinking about making a restroom only for Vex, which is labled "Vex". This makes the others wondering, "So Vex is a gender?"
