I suppose no amount of words can assuage that. I abandoned you. Used you. I betrayed your trust. And for this past millennium-and-a-half, you were the one to shoulder that burden. If I were in your position, well, I'd like to think there'd be much destruction in my wake.
So, I'm deeply sorry for what I've done to you. I know you already know that, and I'm sure you don't care, but it's true. And yes; what's done is done. There's no changing the past. But... but we can still have a future. ...Can't we?
