I don't want you to keep you from doing your work. You aren't required to converse with us.

Reason why I don't exactly like my mom:
1. She nags. She has too much free time, dammit. She has nothing to do but to sit and think about things. When something happens with the teachers, she'll go on and on about it for months.
2. She doesn't like giving me allowance. She has a problem with me having money, for some reason. She's fine with giving it to her friends' children, though, who are much younger.
3. She is lazy. She forces me to eat crappy food (ones cooked in microwaves, only takes 2 minutes to make).
4. A hypocrite. The worst. Enough said.
5. Her pride and stubbornness gets on my nerves! She reminds me of those people at school only worse! She'll deny something even if I'm right, and won't even admit to having pride at all.
True, she lets me have more freedom than some parents. But still... I hate homework.

1 She needs a better hobby. 2. Seriously? They're more irresponsible and you're her offspring! 3. Trick her into making cooking delicious meals a hobby, solves 1 partially and 3 the second part. 4. Ack 5. Are we talking the type that won't listen to reason?

1. How our hobby suggestion conversations go:
"Mom, you should try read-" "No." "What? Why?" "It makes my eyes hurt, with all the words. Besides, it's pointless. Now go away, I'm busy!" "... You're not doing anything."
2. I know... Her friends' boy has autism (not saying there's anything wrong with it), and is 5 years old. -_-
3. She's too lazy to.
4. She'll tell me to stop spending so much time in front of a screen, when she does too. Even more, actually. Hypocrites...
5. Yeah. Look:
"You know, mom, we talked about knowing oneself's flaws." "Go back to your room, I don't want to hear it." "Hold on a minute. I'm just asking if you know what-" "I was always he perfect student at school. I got good grades, the teachers loved me..." "... You have too much pride." "No, I don't!" "You're also stubborn." "Everyone has some pride!" "You have more than average." "You need to do your homework and chores, I don't want to get a call from the principal aga-" "Stop trying to change the topic." "I'm not, you just need to-" "You're still... Just... Never mind."

Maybe if you took the effort to lead by example and make it seem fun? You said she spends a lot of time in front of the screen and then bugs about you it. 2. Short of helping you make a good investment in the stock market or something I'm not sure how fix that. I could give more useful advice if we knew her motives. 3. See number 1 as these are somewhat intertwined. 4. One of those "Do as I say not as I do" types. 5. That type? I should lecture her. How old is she? It will effect my "When I was your age..." speech to her.

The point is: She doesn't listen. She won't even come to listen to any lectures. -_-

Well that's disappointing, how in the Ninth Hell am I supposed to help you manipulate someone who doesn't even pay attention?!

I can sometimes manipulate her into spoiling me, but recently, she's become more stubborn.
