"Intruders?!" Mistycloud was up in an instant, Stoneclaw following his sister's example. Foxwhisker joined them. They began running, following Halfpaw's scent mark to the battle, paws drumming the ground.
Mistycloud growled at the sight of Shadelight.
"Looks like we have company." Shadows gathered to one spot, forming the figure of a black she-cat. Shade scanned around the clearing.(They were in a clearing, or do I stand correct?) She, Shadelight and Nightmare were outnumbered. "If the odds seem against us, there's an escape route over there." Shade jerked her shadowy tail towards the bushes she had lurked in. |

Scorchingpaw nodded and started to climb as well when her ear twitched and she stopped. "Is that... Halfpaw?" She mewed looking around. She saw her brother racing down the gorge wall. "Intruders! Intruders in the territory! They're attacking hawkdance, leafpelt and a kit!" He yowled.

"Show the way!" In her head Dappleheart was going through all the battle moves Foxwhisker had taught her. "Looks like we're starting with battle moves instead." she then added to Scrochingpaw. |

Scorchingpaw nodded with a grin then bolted as her brother began the run back to the clearing where the fighting cat's were in.

"... And remember to stay near a warrior at all times..." Dappleheart was going through a list of advice for Scorchingpaw's first battle as she dashed after Halfpaw (or at least as an apprentice).

Hawkdance gave thankful nod to the warriors and bunched her muscles launching herself forwards. Something's wrong here, it feels like there's something else. She closed her eyes momentarily as she shot her paw across Shadelight's face. When she opened them a dark she-cat was visible. She growled and lunged for the shadowy figure aiming a blow to her flank by surprise.

Shade yelped in surprise as Hawkdance's claws pierced her skin. Taking a few steps back, she pulled herself together, a smirk on her face. Blue eyes glowing with various different emotions, she fiercely lunged at Hawkdance.

Hawkdance yowled countering it with several blows to the muzzle and quickly flipped onto her back showing her belly to kick outward with her hind legs sending a powerful kick in shade's direction.

The kick landed squarely on Shade, sending her flying off to the other direction, and the air out of her lungs. Before she hit the ground, the shadows scattered, reforming in front of Hawkdance. She hissed,standing on her back legs and swiping forward with her paws. It didn't look ver graceful, but not many cats do in that position.
Ooc: When should Falconflight's snap-happy day be? I was thinking maybe a few dasy from here. Technically it could happen today already... |

Hawkdance growled dodging a few blows and springing onto her hind paws to counter and surprise Shade. She threw a powerful blow towards her face hoping it would take her of balance

Shade tumbled to the ground with fury. This was not one of her best fighting days. Usually she'd have no trouble, but today was a very bad day for her. She scrambled back to her feet panting.
"Our paths will cross again, Shadelight." Then she shot a glare at Hawkdance before the shadows scattered apart.

Hawkdance hissed clawing at the disappearing figure of shade. She turned her attention back to Shadelight and yowled charging a head but into her side.
~~~ Halfpaw pointed with his tail-tip towards the clearing beyond the bushes they were in. "There!"
