Cinderstar checked her clan, making sure that every cat was there. After that, she padded to follow the Windclan cats, followed by her clan.

Froststar checked with every one of her cats, making sure the queens had help with their kits, and Proudheart had told Froststar that the little kit he was carrying was named Firekit. Froststar nodded at this, and lead the way, walking beside Adderpaw and Eveningclaw “Adderpaw, your getting very close to being a warrior. If you work better on your fighting skills, and help the clan through out this, and pass your final assessment, I will make you a warrior” she mewed, already thinking of Warrior names for Adderpaw, like Adderstrike, Adderfang, Addereyes, and so on, but none seemed just right for her apprintice.

"Okay!" Adderpaw sounded enthusiastic out of all the other cats. "I wonder where the other apprentices are?"

"Not with that attitude." Mistclaw stated.

Turtleshine had never been rather fond of Mistclaw, and this day was no exception.

Fireleaf and Lightheart were near the fire, talking. They were far from the place where the clans were clustered.
"Don't you just love the fire? So beautiful, yet no one likes its power. One wrong move near it, and you're done."
"Well," Lightheart says. "It does look a little pretty..."
"Good," Fireleaf says before pushing Lightheart into the fire. Lightheart's screams were muffled by the cracking of the fire.
"Turtlefrost is next," she whispered to herself, and ran off to tell of Lightheart's death.

"Oh, no, this is terrible!" Fireleaf yowled as she entered the cluster of RiverClan cats. "Lightheart got too close to the fire! First it was her tail, next her whole body on fire!" She pretended to stagger. "Oh, I feel lightheaded..."
Turtlefrost held her up straight. "Where is her body?"
"Probably burned up," Fireleaf says, a fake tear rolling down her cheek. "But I'll show you where it happened..."
"Okay, just, give me a minute..." Turtlefrost panicked. His mate, dead!? Who would take care of little Nightkit?

Goldenstar lowered his head. "A fine cat." He murmured.

Adderpaw wad still looking for other apprentices, when he spotted a ThunderClan apprentice. "Hi!" He bounded over to the cat.

"Okay, I'm ready,"Turtlefst says, wiping tears fom his eyes.
"Come, we will see what remains." Fireleaf leads him to the same place where she had pushed Lightheart into the fire.

Fireleaf led him there. "The fire is still burning. But it looks weaker, maybe we can get her body."
"I'll try," Turtlefrost says. He puts his paw into the fire. "You're right, sort of. It still feels hot, though." He sticks his paw farther in.
A yelp was heard, then nothing.

"Where are the other cats? We must be going before the fire reaches us and traps us like mice!" Adderpaw exclaimed, lashing his tail.

Froststar looked around, checking all of her apprintices "Adderpaw, Most apprentices are staying with their mentors or in a group." she said

Blazestar saw Adderpaw chatting with her appliance.

WolfFeather waited at the river. ``Let's go!`` She yowled out loud. She headed down the river, South. About a mile ahead, plains were strewn across the land like blankets of grass. It was clear this was to take several nights.
