From someone who knows next to nothing about Dungeons and Dragons, Lolth sounds like some made up ordinal.

I hate spiders. They're pretty much the one type of creature I won't ally with. Lolth is their deity in the DnD mythos. (I didn't go with the Felridgean pantheon since our spider deity was killed long before I was born.)
