Zoey thanked her when she brought her one.
The knot seemed to disperse, but the emotional pain she had experienced was much worse than her physical pain. 'Was Aden among the ones to laugh?' She thought to herself. 'Who was that girl staring at me? Why did Jackal get sent to the principal's office when he did nothing wrong?' Zoey sighed and sat down, patiently waiting for the time when PE would be almost over, so she could go back, change out, grab her stuff, and go to art class. After art was her favorite subject, science. She brightened up at the thought.
