3J, I think I just get this situation. This is all a misunderstanding. I'm gonna post a thread in CYS to solve and fix the problem. I realized that everyone (both sides), including me made mistakes. I hope by making that thread, the problem will be solved, once for all. It's not a protest thread. It's just my conclusion to all of this. I think this is all a misunderstanding. Please don't. Drama threads are not welcome there and that's what it would be. Keep it here. Well, it's not meant to be drama, it's meant to be diplomacy. |

Hah, not until you read the thread. It's just a conclusion to end this conflict, once for all. Don't worry, I think most people will realize the problem and the solution after I make the post. I think me and others make mistakes. Don't bother, Raven. Posts about drama and resolution and conflict are not what we need there. Things are peaceful. In your head, there's this big conflict, but the forum is doing well. If you have something to say, you can say it here or in PM. Over there, non-drama related topics only please. |

Quite frankly I think the site of CYS is now doomed. Not because of any annoying resistance as you put it but through slow alienation of groups.

Today the freeformers and RPers, who tomorrow? Actually, just you. No one else is banned and most other people have adapted by writing stories or making structured games. It's working out quite well and I've got numerous PMs from users who support the decision. |

I supported the decision you made when I first joined. I supported all the new rules but that one. No one else is banned but how many have simply left?

Chris, maybe, but he's already publicly stated that he wished he didn't. Beyond that, two users have told me that they plan to come out of the woodwork, and so that's pretty cool. Expect to see Danaos around more in the future. Edit: Well, I guess.. that was a poor choice of words, since you won't be seeing him. |

Bad form 3J! But actually I will be seeing him. I may just lurk since the banning has no significant impact under the new rules. RPing was booted. I lack sufficient motivation to work on a storygame. (Though I may work on the proper book). I can read and rate storygames without an account. Getting banned was A GOOD THING since it severed all remaining ties to CYS in case my predictions of doom and gloom come true. Admittedly, I can't participate in debate but there are other places to do so.
