Honestly, those affected by these rules are not (and never were) CYS's target demographic. I can understand animosity toward what is essentially being "kicked off", but you need to realize that if you have no reason to stay now, you never were intended to. The mods have no obligation to cater to the peripheries. Don't take it personally.

I should say that I don't get the outrage from a logical perspective. I can completely understand how some people are averse to change and don't want to move websites and I respect that. Like I said, if anyone ever wants to talk about it, I'm always just a PM away. That said, 99.9% of you seem to understand that even though it's not great for freeform RP on CYS, that there is motivation to go this direction and that we aren't doing it to be vindictive. I definitely appreciate the understanding and I do hope that at least some of you contribute a kickass storygame or two. You're a creative lot and could do well. |

Hey Mardox, which admin did you PM and get ignored by? That sounds like a ridiculous thing that didn't at all happen. I've had productive conversations with numerous users about the new guidelines. Anyway, have fun with your personal grudge against me. I hope it's long and fulfilling and brings you lots of fulfillment in life. Sounds healthy. Meanwhile, I'll go back to trying to make CYS a more productive and interesting place to be. Pretty sure I PMed you. Nothing wrong with a good grudge. Yeah, I was willing to come over to that point of view but now more incidents have occurred and it's personal, not politics. I should probably begin working on a contingency forum since I suspect 3J is holding Derpino's CYS account hostage and now that it's personal... What the actual fuck? |
